What did you spend your second transfer on?
I sent my second transfer for buying a bull at 500,000, paid school fees for my two children 500,000 and the remaining transfer I used roofing my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly did well to give me cash because I have bought a bull for my self, on my side Give Directly has not done any bad act.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
This transfer has enabled me to own a bull and to sleep in a descent house, achieving all that was not going to be easy without this transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I was able to buy Iron sheets worth 500,000 ugx, bricks 330,000ugx in order to build a permanent house, I also paid tuition worth 120,000ugx and my children are happy. The balance of the money, I still have it for offsetting daily problems like feeding.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was filled with a lot of joy and I danced together with my children appreciating the support.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have the ability to purchase whatever my children want to eat compared to the days before Give Directly have me my first transfers.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is lack of money to pay school fees for my children at secondary school most especially at the beginning of every school term.My children most times report school late because; every beginning of school term normally finds me without any money to send them back to school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening.This is so because this is the time when my children return back from school. Seeing my children gathered together playing in my presence, makes me happy having missed them through out the day while they were at school.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means educating my children at secondary school by paying their school fees and buying livestock for my son's to graze during school holidays
