How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now because i have food at home. we used to sleep on an empty stomach with my children in most days, this really affected my children's performance at school. the moment i received the transfers the hunger problem became history and am hopeful that the performance of my children at school will improve.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
the fact that Give directly gives us cash directly so that we can be able to buy things that we needs is something that is done very well but leaving out some poor households in the village is something i feel the organisation does not do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
when i received the transfer i bought cement and iron sheets which will be used to build my kitchen and toilet. the other amount was used to buy food for my family. the remaining amount was used to buy mattress and other basic needs.
