Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have an additional goal to acquire a dairy cow. I wish to be able to buy it from the money I get and save from my farming activities. I will use the savings to buy a cow.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the poultry-keeping business that I started. I have been collecting about 10 eggs per day. This translates to about KES 100 that goes a long way to meet my family's needs. I am so proud to be able to support my husband. As a woman, it gives me lots of joy to contribute to building my home and makes his life easier than the time we had not received these transfers. We used to completely rely on his efforts alone which was too much for him.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have improved in the next months. I know that my poultry project will be larger whereby I will be collecting about 20 eggs per day instead of the current 10 eggs. This will be sold at the price of KES 200 per day which is almost equal to my daily household expenditure of KES 300 per day.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have two children in various secondary schools, it has been a struggle to get money to keep them in school because the money I get from the subsistence farming is not enough to pay for their school fees. This makes me feel like I failed as a parent and that my biggest hardship.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon, because I got relax with my children after a busy morning.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use the first transfer to start a poultry project- building a structure and purchasing chicks.
I will use the second transfer to buy a dairy cow.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I am proud of my tea farming production, the cash I get from selling it has enabled me to provide basic needs for my family and buy building materials for my new timber house.
