Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have new plans other than to continue spending these transfers on paying school fees for my son who is in form three. This would mean that he will not be sent home for the whole of this year. This will give him ample time to prepare well for his final exams.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last few months, I spent part of my transfers to pay school fees for my children. I am happy that this time round I do not have any school fees arrears pending come next year. To me, this is the greatest difference in my life. I can now plan ahead since I won't be financially burdened like the previous years
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I believe that I will not be struggling to pay for my son's school fees. The little money which I will be earning from the sale of my farm produce will be enough to cater for my almost all my family needs. I am proud to say that I won't struggle to at least provide the basic needs such as food. I will continue working with the little resources that I have to develop myself and improve our living standards

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different since I was able to plant early this year like other people in my region. Due to this, I am hopeful of a good harvest this year hence my family will have enough food to last till the next harvesting season. In addition to this, I have also planted some potatoes in another section of my farm. I will sell to traders at our nearest market and use the money I will get to cater for my family needs.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to buy two goats for rearing. My main aim is to buy a dairy cow but since it is expensive and I cannot afford it now, I settled on goats as they are relatively cheap and they increase in number over a short period of time. I am planning to use my savings from our table banking group to achieve this.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I am now happy and my confidence has increased. This is because I have been able to increase the number of seats that I own. I can now confidently welcome visitors into my home as I know that they will get where to sit on comfortably.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will be different in the next six months as I will be a proud owner of two goats. When they reproduce and increase in number, I will sell some in order to use the money to buy a cow. Dairy farming has always been my dream project for there is always a high demand for milk everywhere.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different in that I have had additional assets that can always assist me meet any financial needs. I also get to afford most of the household needs without necessarily relying on my husband like I used to do before. This has given my husband ample time to concentrate in much more bigger projects that are going to help the family in the long run.

In the next four months, I am planning to buy a water tank through the collection made from my merry go round. When I get the money, I will add it with some other money and buy a water tank that will bring to an end the endless problem of water shortages.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have never earned a monthly income in my life. It has brought total change in my life now that I own some of the assets that I never thought I will own any time soon. I have been able to participate in a merry go round without fail and this is going to help me a lot.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life to change in a positive way. I will have a water tank and we plan to save more money that will enable us buy land. The water tank shall be bought when we get our merry go round contributions and this will bring to an end the perennial problem of water shortage. We are going to commit my husbands pay slip and borrow a loan that will enable us buy land. The land that we are currently staying in is a family land and is already too small to allow us make any reasonable investments in it. Getting our own land shall definitely be a breakthrough for us as a family as it will open us to more opportunities of investment.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different because we are well fed as a family and I am at peace most times. I am happy too. I never knew that I will earn a salary - we normally feel we are on GiveDirectly payroll like people on employment. Thank you GD, we appreciate the transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
At the moment I do not have any new goal. We are focusing on paying school fee and meeting our basic needs. Only that.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My life is now better. We can save some cash because GiveDirectly transfers ease our burden of basic needs such food and toiletries. The funds we save can go to school fee without us toughing it out. Our basic needs are comfortably met because when we get the monthly transfer, we buy enough to last us to the next. My husband and I are paying school fee for our niece and nephew hence the high financial demands on us. Things are now lighter because of GD transfers. This is the biggest difference in my daily life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to own a cow in the next six months. This will be a reminder of the help that GD is sending us. It will give us milk for consumption and sale. I also intend to use the merry go round funds that I am a member to buy chairs. I frequently get visitors and the few we have are not enough, I feel we need some more.
