What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
With the cash transfer, I plan to secure a plot of land worthUSD833 in Buwangani Town council which is a bit flat with less risks of land slides and flash floods and good for settlement and cultivation. I plan to build a house of USD555 on this plot so that we can stay safely without and any worries that we may die of disaster any time. Then the balance of USD555 will help me to start up a coffee business inorder for us to improve on income generation and live good life in the future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The only thing that in the last six months is the harvest of coffee I registered. Even though it was little, it help me raise money for basic needs and also catering for school requirements for my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge we face currently is poverty which is caused by flash floods which sweep a way good soils leading to poor yields and also destroy banana and coffee plantations hence leaving us with limited source of income.
