Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I got the ash transfer will always be remembered by myself and many in the entire village cause I was the one who started bitting the drums and alot of happy recipients come to dance the music. I couldn't believe, I thought it was a joke. I read the cash transfer message more that 10 times to believe. People thot I have got maid but no, it was part of excitement.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am seeing my future will be bright since the coming in of GD in the village. I have no hope of whether I could buy good quality iron sheets. It was so pain every rain night sleeping whilst standing by the wall. I couldn't stand it seeing my little children passing. Most times I dropped tears praying for a miracle from God. Having this transfer has changed my life from better
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm so grateful for the money...I will use the money to build a new house with ironsheets and cemented floor as well as better windows and doors.. Part of the money will be used to purchase livestock such as goats and chickens.. I will also buy enough Food to cater for my whole household..
What is the happiest part of your day?
Its mostly in the afternoon and evening when I'm having lunch and dinner with my family..
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The greatest hardship has been that of lack of income...Due to this, we fail to buy fertilizer and seeds due to the rising prices...in the end,,we do not have sufficient food required for the entire household..
