How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly, I always had the thought to change the roof of my house from the old thatched roof to a zinc roof due to the deployable condition of the roof. With this goal I was praying for this financial opportunity until GiveDirectly came to my rescue. Since then I have been planning to used my transfers for this project. On that note, I am waiting for the next transfer to so I can buy all the materials for the project.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has been doing well from the beginning of this program until now. They have brought so much relieved and joyed to us as family. Their farsightedness towards the needy is so much commendable. We will forever remain grateful to GiveDirectly for this life changing opportunity. Truly speaking I have not seen anything wrong done by GiveDirectly.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: I have been a farmer even before the coming of givedirectly to my community, but it have always been my goal to build my house. Now with givedirectly cash transfer program I am planning and fighting to achieve this goal of mine. I started getting some materials for the construction process already.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE:In my opinion I think givedirectly is doing very well. Givedirectly people are very nice when it comes to talking to people, they are ever ready to listen and answer questions. From the starting of this program till today givedirectly is still doing well. Givedirectly people have always been good and friendly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: The most thing I am thinking on spending this my transfer on will be the purchasing of planks for the construction of my house. As i have gotten the sticks to start the structure, it is a dream come through for me because with just the desire and no cash all this could never have been possible. Therefore, i will remain forever grateful to givedirectly for this help.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to sent the children to school and changed the thatch to Zinc. I am in a polygamous marriage with five children and the only source of survival is through cassava farming and the produce are used to fixed gari for sale but due to the lack of roads there is no much income. This transfer will be a great help to changed our lives.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Seeing myself and family alive this onNew year Day I was more than happy. There were many people who had money but did not entered 2022 but God crossed us over.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The hard time am faced with now is the lack of money. As you can see, the distance to get here is not easy and we only depend on farming for survival but there is no way to sell our produce which makes it difficult to get money to solve the problem affecting me.
