How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life would have been terrible if not for the transfer. I lost my house and other household items in 2018 due to floods since then, I have never been at peace. I tried working as a house girl in the city even doing a business but nothing gave me enough money to construct a house. The has helped me to have a nice and we'll structured house that I couldn't manage but only dreamed of. I now have an iron sheet roofed house. Thanks alot to GD for the cash gift.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The program went on well. If it would have pass through our leaders, I believe some of us, won't have benefited from it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I use the final transfer to build a house. I bought most of the building materials with the first transfer and the second transfer has helped me to pay for the builders.

Thanks to the transfer she now has a leak proof house and she also has enough of food to last her till next year

What does receiving this money mean to you?
It means alot to me. I will use the money to renovate my house. It is thatched with grass so I will buy Iron sheets.

Whenever I have my basic needs met am happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have to change the roof of my house often because its madr of grass.
