How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't having new goals before receiving this transfer,I'm planning to Purchase motobike for my son for business purpose, with this motobike my son will provide food for us on a daily basis.

Give Directly had empower me financially and right now i will establish transportation business for my son, i don't know anything that GD did that is not well all is okay from my end.

My new goal for my recent transfer is for me to improve my house by plastering my entire building.

In my mind GiveDirectly is doing well for me because they are sending me money for my life to be change. I have not observed anything that GiveDirectly did not do well with since I started receiving money from GiveDirectly.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my first transfer I was feeling fine because I know that this money will help me to do something for my self like building a decent house.

The biggest difference in my life now is that this money will enable me live in a decent house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
As a polygamous family, we are currently cluster in a small house that is not spacious enough to accommodate us. My children are also out of school with one engaged in commercial motorcycling to help me feed the family.
If I qualify to receive the cash transfer, I will firstly build a spacious house that will accommodate my children and I. I will also start a business that will give me more money to get my children back in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Back in February 2022, a man who I helped before compensated me with 20 United States Dollars. With my house being out of food at the time, I used the 20 USD to buy a bag of rice that fed my family for weeks. This brought me so much happiness and relief from the stress of how to get food for my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
As a polygamous family, we are only engaged in subsistence farming for the survival of the family. My spouse is also not employed currently. The proceeds we get from the farm can not give us enough cash as well. Against these backdrop, we are currently challenged with insufficient cash to build a spacious house and get the children back in school.
This make me and my spouse feel so bad as head of the family.
