How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
This coming year I am hoping to accomplish my agriculture activities and the full establishment of a business and also the completion of my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
First of all Givedirectly is doing well by taking us from povert, and I have not seen any bad thing about GiveDirectly.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
From the beginning of this program, I wanted my wife to served as house hold head. She declined for reason best known to herself. It seems like God spoke to her, because right after enrolling us on the program, she got sick and was taken to the sick bush for treatment. On this faithful day, I was thinking on how I will get money for her treatment when I got alert message. Upon checking, I saw a Mobile Money message that I have received $35,625 LRD from Givedirectly. With joy and happiness, I quickly ran to Zleh Town to cash out my money. I went straight to my wife in the sick bush to give her the money and the good news.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
A lot of things have happened since I received this money. My house has been without ceilings and cement floor in some rooms. But with this money, I will be able to complete my house. My wife sickness has actually dely the plan of completing my house. I was never thinking about putting ceiling in my house, but with the money I received from Givedirectly, I can now put ceilings in my house. I don't really know how to say it, but this money has brought great changes in my life. Things I never thought of doing all my life, I can now do it with this help Givedirectly has given me. Let God bless us all.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My children are not going to school because of lack of finance. The proceeds I get from the farm are not enough to pay my children's school fees. When I receive the transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use a portion of it to pay my children's school fees and invest the remaining into a business where I could raise money to care for my family".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"I have not had any happy moments in the past six months, because I am not able to meet my family's needs. I am so happy today because GiveDirectly has given me hope that I will be able to pay my children's school fees this school year and improve my family life".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The biggest hardship I face is lack of finance. School is about to open and I am so worried because I don't have any means of paying my children's school fees. The little money I had in my saving was spent on food for my family".
