How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it would have been had I not received the transfers from Give Directly. Previously we would constantly quarrel with must husband over petty issues. I at times think that he was just frustrated that's is why he kept on shouting at us. This changed when I started receiving these transfers. He is always happy and focused. The transfers have bought peace and happiness in my family and I thank Give Directly for that.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Since I delivered recently the additional goals for my life for the next four-month is to start a small shop business because it does not require a lot of movement. So long as I have someone to go and buy me stock the rest I can do as I monitor the well being of the baby.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Currently, my life is different from how it could have been before Give Directly came into my life. I am healthier and happier because I can now afford to eat well and meet other basic needs. Give Directly gave me the means to do all these through the monthly transfers. Nowadays I don't have to strain my self by doing several casual jobs in order to get money. Previously I would hustle the whole day looking for a job and still sleep hungry especially the bad days when I couldn't get a casual job to do. I am glad this will never happen again because I have invested the money I got from Give Directly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I would be having an additional source of income . Through this, I would not have any difficulty to support my family financially.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was in that, I am able to take care of my needs easily without struggling with odd jobs. Initially, I depended on casual labour in order to meet my daily needs. Since the casual jobs are not predictable I would go hungry on bad days. I thank God that is no longer the case ever since Give Directly came into our life.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start a business probably operating a shop. I know that Give Directly will not help us forever, therefore, opening a shop will help me generate income even after they have left. I am a casual labourer but since casual jobs are not reliable, I think the shop business is a good idea. There are few shops in this region which are normally not very active I have a strong feeling that if I open one that has a variety of good I will have saved my community from walking long distances in such of these goods. I not only want a source of income but also bring change in our community by opening this shop.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I was able to buy food easily in this dry season. Previously, at such a period of time, I could struggle burning charcoal in order to buy food I could imagine what life could have been now, without the transfer because nowadays the bushes have been cleared because of this poor act of burning charcoal that everyone used to depend on. At times I was forced to do odd jobs which were not available always. The dry season are usually tough periods in a year but I am glad that this year was different. I have never been stressed because I know that I have food in my house. I thank Give Directly because it is rare to have people who are willing to help in such situations.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have started operating a shop. I know that when this dream actualizes, I will be able to take care of my needs even after GiveDirectly finishes their project in our community. This kind of business normally does well in our area and I know that It will be the end of depending on hard jobs which are also unreliable. I thank Give Directly for choosing our village and impacting our lives in a positive way
