What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the money to buy 4 goats which I want to sell in future. I also bought three bags of fertilizer which I applied to my crops which I applied toi my crops and I expect to harvest a lot of maize this year. I also bough three bags of maize to feed my family of 5 people.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I see that GiveDirectly do well in all its operations. GiveDirectly do well by giving the transferv directly to the recipient unlike other organisations which pass through village headmen to distribute the transfers. In such cases, the village headmen are subjected to choose people they feel should get the transfer and not everyone who is eligible to be part of the program. GiveDirectly should continue to directly give to the beneficiaries.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving the transfers, My goals were to have a decent house as well as other good household things such as bicycles, mattress and clothes. Now I live a happy life having accomplished those goals thanks to the financial support from GiveDirectly.
