What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
When I got married in 1983, I was very exited to start a family of my own. I had anticipated to have children almost immediately. To my utter disappointment, we consecutively lost up to nine of our children soon after birth. We could not understand this mysterious bereavement. Nevertheless, we prayed and surrendered everything to God. Our first born son was born in 1987 the rest of the three children born after him survived. I was traumatized and as a matter of fact, my wife has been disturbed ever since. This ordeal is the biggest hardship I have faced in my life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning because waking up to a new day healthy is a gift from God.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Never in my life have I received such a huge amount of money for free and in a very short time. Therefore receiving this money is excitingly unbelievable. This means my two sons can continue with their college education and my last born daughter can easily sit for her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education this year. This will further enable me purchase a second milking cow for my family.
