How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes I am building a house and I didn't think of doing it before. It's because of the help I got from GiveDirectly that I'm doing these things I didn't plan to do.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has brought positive changes in our lives. The fathers of my five children have abondoned us and GiveDirectly is the caused of them returning to school. All of my children were primary school dropouts.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I procured zinc, cement and nails to build a new house and I spent the remaining amount of money on the tuition of my five children.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Getting the money means a lot to me, I want to make business when I received this money, making business will help me take care of my children, I want to build my house, Because the house I'm living in is our family house,so I need my own self house, my children are not going to school, because I don't have money to send my children to school, cause them to not start school at this age.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Hearing about Give Directly program makes me so happy, because since I was born, that's my first time for NGO to come to our town, to make me a recipient for their program, that alone brought lot of joy to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of money to get food for the children, lack of school fees for the kids, and she's talking care of her mother, who loss her husband ew years back. Getting food and medication for the old ma is her major challenge.
