What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to buy a sheep and a goat. I'm still having the rest of the cash which I'm planning to use in building a rental house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The difference in my life is that I have a reliable source of income from the retail shop I established which I couldn't have commence without GD support.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What GD does well is that it doesn't restrict recipient on how to use the transfer. At the moment I'm not aware of what GD doesn't do well.

I spent my second transfer to buy a goat for 2000 KES, 2000 KES i spent to buy food for my family ,6000 KES i spent to start a small kiosk business and the remaining cash have saved for to add with the third transfer to build a better house.

What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having found employment as a domestic house servant. This line of work has enabled me to educate my daughter who is in primary school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income for myself. I have recently given birth to twins and I am also experiencing illness, this means that I often have to to choose between taking care of the twins basic needs and paying for my hospital bills and this is very difficult.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning because the Lord has blessed me and my family and we can all praise him.
