What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used the cash to buy a new solar system and a cow. In addition to that I also managed to pay school fees for my grandchild.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD does well by giving unconditional transfers to the needy like me. On the contrary, I have not seen any bad thing that GD does to the society.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different right now because IO now have a new solar system that lights my home as opposed to the previous years when I used to have a paraffin light.

The biggest hardship that I face is to pay for hospital bills I am partially paralysed.

I am happiest at night as I meet my family and share a meal.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving will change my life because I have been longing to start a business of selling maize and fish.This is because am partially paralysed and can no longer do strenuous jobs like farming.
