What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building a 2 room kitchen that also serves as a sleeping place for our children who used to sleep in their grandmother's house which is a little far and was inconveniencing to us all since again it was not safe for them.I also paid Secondary school fee for our child for 10,000 KES to facilitate consistent learning.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on building a three roomed house since before I was staying in a leaky grassed thatched house all my savings that I intended to build house with I could use on my ailing child.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I feel peaceful at heart and accomplished as well since I have managed to build a decent three roomed house hence I no longer stay in a leaky grassed thatched house since all my savings that I intended to build house with I could use on my ailing child. My children are also going to school without any school fees arrears as I had paid their school fees with the first transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying 5,000 KES school fee for my child in high school, bought a sack of maize at 4,100 KES, then bought soap with the rest of the cash. My child is now peacefully in school because I managed to settle his fee balance, thanks to GiveDirectly.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing currently is lack of water for domestic use, we are experiencing drought and the lake is far from here.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when listening to gospel music, it gives me hope.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means my son is going to complete his secondary education since I will be able to pay his school fees. I will also be living in iron roofed house which is more spacious than this one which I plan to build if I get this money.
