Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to save from the sales of milk to pay school fees for my children in school who are yet to joined secondary school.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have bought a dairy cow. I used to buy milk and it was so costly for me. I depend on the casual jobs in the village and the amount of money I get is so small and cannot gather for All the basic needs including paying school fees for my two children in secondary school. My children at times could be sent home to collect the school fees and this was affecting their performance. I'm so happy now that I have enough milk for my family consumption and I sell the surplus at the market to earn an income .I used the money to pay the school fees and also buy the basic needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have build a better house and buy one heifer. This will support me by selling the milk to earn an income.

The biggest difference in my life is that I have a cow that I milk. It reminds me of the happiness that came from Give Directly to rescue me.I am so happy to be able to feed my family using money I get fro m selling this milk.

I expect my life to change in the next six months because I will be having another cow and a farm in which I will have palnted crops.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different because I have built a nice house and bought acow.I heard this cow everyday and it has become a bifg sourcce of incoem.

I intredn to buy a large water tank for storing rain water.I also want to buy educational materials for my children.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
More than 20 years ago, I lost my wife. Accordingly, I had to take all the household responsibilities - including cooking for the family, caring and protecting the young kids. I found life unfavorable and never thought of delivering according to the demands of my family. Besides, it was so bitter to apprehend the situation and inform the naive kids who used to ask about the whereabouts of their mother. Hence, the demise of my only wife serves as the biggest challenge I have faced in life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when socializing with my friends after the day's work. When I interact and share stories with my friends, I get some peace and somehow forget about the stress that I have regarding survival of my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
About six years ago, I planted about 1.5 acres of maize using gains from my casual work. Luckily, I had a great harvest. I sold the maize and used the proceeds to build a new house with iron-sheet roof. I find that as the greatest achievement that I am proudest of in life because we had suffered a lot in a grass-thatched house that we had - it was leaking, and I was always worried about my family as rains approached.
