How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
When i go to university, my life will be much better. With the community that i find myself, our main source of income is farming and the poverty level is so high comparing it with people who are educated, it's much better. I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters where i am the second child and 27 years in the family. If i attend and complete university, i will definitely be a help to them and my entire community.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is doing extremely well for us by making our dreams come true. I feel that i am already in school because i have money that will enable me to attend university and it makes me so happy.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Since i graduated from secondary school in 2019, i haven't been able to further my studies due to financial crisis. It was always my dream to attend university with the plan to read Accounting with emphasis in Management but there was no support financial. So with the opportunity of receiving unconventional cash from Give Directly, i am saving all my transfers until the entire transfer process is over and use it to go to university.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I graduated from high school since 2019 and due to lack of money and support, I could not go to college nor vacation school to improve myself. That same year, I came to this town to live, make cocoa farm and be able to raise some money and get back in school. Presently, cocoa farm and bike riding is what I do to substain myself. When I am successful and get the cash transfer, I will use the money to pay my fees and get further education.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months my Happiest moment is now that GiveDirectly has come to enrolled me on the program, with the hope that I will receive the cash transfer. With this, I will be able to get back to school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I graduated from high school since 2019 and due to lack of money and support, I could not go to college nor vacation school to improve myself. That same year, I came to this town to live, make cocoa farm and be able to raise some money and get back in school. Presently, cocoa farm and bike riding is what I do to substain myself. My major challenge now is, I don't get support from anyone to help me raised my fees. The cocoa farm owned has not been able to produce much to pay my fees either. More over, I don't have anyone I can trust to with my back to also be able to generate money, which makes it challenging for me to meet my target of getting back in school.
