What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying iron sheets, timber, wooden door and nails which I used in building my own house since I used in to live in a rented house. I also bought three cows which I used in paying dowry at my wife's home since I had not done that earlier.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying 2 sacks of maize at 10000 KES, two cow at 30000 KES, paying dowry at 10000 KES. I realized that I used to spend more on buying daily maize floor as compared to when I bought 2 sacks of maize. Therefore, I have been saving some money as well and this has really made me to live a peaceful night.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my family members can afford a daily meal as compared to before transfers when at times my family members could go without a meal.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on 2 bags of dry corn since we needed food urgently and also certified maize seeds which I planted and expect improved yield this season.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money was a joyful time for my family because I had pressing needs, including food, yet had been very broke, but with GD transfer I could immediately meet those needs.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is that when I go fishing am not able to make enough money to sustain my family because I still use someone's boat and depend on commission which is little.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I go fishing at night and am always happiest in the morning when I come back to the house because I can now rest and I also have some little money to spend during the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very happy because am going to be able to build my own home and move out of the rental house that I've been staying in.
