How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much different because I acquired basic needs that can sustain my family. In addition to that, I started a local brew bar which is earning income for my family. More so my family is now peaceful and we nolonger have family disagreements emanating from lack of financial support.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to send cash transfers that have enabled us educate our children and provide basic needs for our families. On the other hand I do not see any wrong doing committed by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase household items worth UGX180,000 and I paid off a loan worth UGX120,000. I am planning to purchase two oxen and an ox-plough with the remaining cash transfer.
