How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was living in a dilapidated house before GiveDirectly came to my rescue. However my life is much different now in that I live in a good house that I renovated with the cash transfers. More so I was able to clear my debts and I will be able to pay school fees for my children. My life would have been so horrible had I not received the cash transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to give people cash transfers that have changed their lives. On the otherhand, there is nothing wrong that GiveDirectly has not done so well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy an ox worth UGX500,000 and paying an old loan worth UGX500,000 and I have kept aside UGX600,000 that I plan to spend on paying school fees for my three children. The balance of UGX30,000 was spent on buying scholastic materials.
