How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I see that the poverty levels have gone down comparing to this time last year, I now have food and am confident it will lat me through to next year harverst season and that is one more reason to sleep peacefully knowing am covered, all thanks to GiveDirectly
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Everything has gone according to the promises, I have received both transfers and I haven't heard or seen anyone in my village that has suffered because of this program
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought 20 iron sheets, a 6 inch matress and 4 bags of maize.
I have also paid part payment for the masonry fees. I am waiting for the rainy season to pass before I start my project.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means so much to me and my family because it means we will be able to build a comfortable life for ourselves. I plan on using this money to build another bigger house because my family is so big and we don't live comfortably with all the children the bigger house will give us more room.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after a long day of work and I am able to find some money and we make food and we eat it as a family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced in our lives is not having enough food to eat because there are not any jobs or small jobs we can do so we make money to buy food for that day.
