What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy a solar panel worth 15000 KES,i finished constructing a pit latrine that i had started. This cost me 22000 KES including labour and the material. I paid 5000 KES fee for my daughter in secondary school. I spent the remaining to buy food for my family.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I want to start poultry keeping to help me improve my livelihood.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I could still be using a paraffin lamp were it not for GD. Now i have a solar panel. My home is fenced and i have a permanent pit latrine too. I am so happy.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought a wire mesh at 28,000 KES, paid 2,000 KES labour charge for fencing, paid 10,000 KES school fee for my daughter in high school, a sack of maize at 3,500 KES then used the rest on food and other house items.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Am now able to do tree planting safely now that my compound is fenced, unlike before when goats used to eat them when am away.

I am planning to use my transfer to educate my two children in high school and one is college. I also plan to do second hand clothes business to increase my level of income.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Our proudest achievement is that we have given our children the best. We ensure they get educated, eat and be successful in life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we face in life is that we have no reliable source of income being that we depend on one job which is so unpredictable.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when at my farm because I am granteed of a good return.
