How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal remains to build a new house. I've been living in thatch house all my life and getting a decent concrete house with a zinc roof is the only thing important to me now. With this transfer, I will have a better living place, comfortable enough for me and my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does not do anything bad to the best of my knowledge. Throughout my life, I have never seen a group this kind and generous. Giving us transfers to change our lives is so much good done.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have purchased zinc for my house with a large portion of my transfer. Apart from my building project, I also intend to continue running my farm therefore I have hired labourers to clear my farm with some of the money aswell.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I new goal since I started getting money from Givedirectly is to build my house. In time past since things were hard, I never had this on my, but thank God for Givedirectly who is making us to achieve what some of us saw as impossible to do.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Honestly I dont see anything Givedirectly is not doing well at the moment. What I think Givedirectly is doing well in is to reach out to the poor in helping them to build their home and improve their lives.

I could tell God has done it fron the look on his face. I was so happy and became to celebrate when he borke the news. This came not only as a suprise but in one of the most cash needed period. It was God and Givedirectly family working mericles on my behave.

My husband had been ill for the past one year. As a result of this, we had not been able to farm. My family survive on banana from the old farm land. Many didnt understand it was my plan not until I got this money from Givedirectly. Besides the fact that my family can eat, I am also happy to soon start my house project. I hope to continue keep progressing by getting involve with business.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will build a compound for my family. The house I am currently living is not in good condition. There are two rooms in the compound and I have five children along with my husband. The compound is small to accommodate us as well. My kids are not attending this year because I don't have money to pay their tuitions. I will used portion of the transfer to settle my kids school issues.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I give birth with a boy on June 8, 2021 of this year. It brought a lot of joy to me and my family. I am also happy for the life of me and my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am facing serious financial issues. My husband is currently sick and we didn't make a farm this season. I want to register my kids, but no money at all. I also want to do business, but no money to start.
