How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
To begin with I would love to appreciate everything that this organisation has done,I have been living in a small glass fatched house ever since i started living on my own, this is not because i never wanted a good house no but its because i couldn't afford one, when i learnt everything about the programme during my enrolment process i knew it in side me that my long waited wish will come true, when i eventually got my first transfer i started by buying house building materials like ironsheet and bricks and with the second transfer i have actually started with the building of the house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion everything that GiveDirectly did was exceptional i have no complaints or anything.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the second transfer to buy Timba, and saved some money to pay labour expenses to the people who were actually building the house,i bought 5 bags of maize for food and 2 bags of fertiliser which i will use for my crops.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will mean alot to me and may family in so many ways. Firstly as you can see our house is not yet finished so with this money we will finish up our house since for so many years we couldn't because of lack of finances. We will also buy mattresses, blankets and other things we need for a good place to sleep. I dont remember my last since i slept on a matress and my children as well some of them they hadn't slept on a matress ever since they have born, so we are looking for a change.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Harvest time because its the only time we have enough food as a family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We face a lot of challenges mostly we don't have enough land for us to farm with this big family of ours we need a bigger land inorder for us to have enough food. Lack of boreholes which result for us to go draw water abit far and we are also very far from the road which make us be behind of knowing things.
