Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has changed because I acquired curtains which have made my house beautiful. In addition, there is a lot of privacy as opposed when anyone could view what was in the house and what was happening because it was accessible. Secondly, I deposited for a motorbike for starting a family transportation business. Hopefully this will generate income for family use like treatment and food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt excited to receive money for securing a motorbike which will generate income for supporting my family. My husband I plan to start a transportation business.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I deposited for a motorbike worth UGX 1,500,000, paid off a debt worth UGX 40,000, bought household goods( a pair of bed sheets and curtains) worth UGX 36,000, bought food worth UGX 100,000 and paid medical bills worth UGX 24,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Iam very happy upon being enrolled into Give Directly program. My desire has been to buy our own motorcycle which would carry people for a fee. My husband currently is riding someones motorcycle and we get little money to cater for our basic needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is Morning. It's the time I wake-up and there is nothing that has disappointed me. This makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is having limited land for farming. Besides that, where we are staying currently is someones land and I believe that he will displace us some time to come. Limited land has made us not to have enough food in the house because there are few gardens that we have been given to cultivate.
