How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
With my three transfer, i was able to buy three bundles of zinc to construct a three bed room for my family. With the last transfer, i have not developed a new goal because, Givedirectly transfer is the money i have to build a new house. Before Givedirectly came into my life, i was suffering to support my family. I used the last transfer to buy the balance materials for my construction. My life is now better than before. Thanks to givedirectly for the money.

Givedirectly did well because my life is now free from stress. Everything went well.

My new goal was to renovate my house.I never had the opportunity to do. My family and I were feeding from hand to mouth.until give-directly came to my rescue and now I am able to renovate my house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The main goal I had before was to build my own house. I started the process, but I couldn't complete it because there was no money to do what I wanted. I began to fulfill my dreams the moment, I received money from Give Directly. I also want to expand my business by opening a shop.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, this is the best NGO I have ever come across. my life is turning into a new trend since I got into this program. Give Directly is doing well in my life. Can solve my financial problems without involving anyone's help. I am grateful for this great opportunity to be a beneficiary of this organization.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home doing some cooking when my phone alarm. I quickly ran to the lone star network area to check my account. To my surprise it was a massage from Give Directly. At that moment I was very happy to receive such amount of money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I was look sorrowful among my friends. I couldn't afford to feed myself neither supports children. Since I received my first transfer from Give Directly am able to do some things for myself. My life is changing gradually. Am happy to be part of this program.

The money I received from Give Directly, I used some of it to buy two bundle of zinc. I also bought floor mat and mattress. The balance money was used to buy half bag of rice.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
We decided to built a new house this time around with metal zinc on the roof, the thatch is not durable, we normally do some patching during the rainy season and the water has affected parts of the walls.
What is the happiest part of your day?
We have been hearing about GiveDirectly in our surroundings for a while now and our prayers and hopes were to one-day see you people working in our community so we can have the opportunity to benefit from the program, we have been joyful in our hearts when other communities started to receive their transfers, we knew our time was near.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our main challenge is the lack of good sleeping place, our house is gradually spoiling and it is a major challenge we can not solve on our own, we are tired patching this house year after year, but we have no option than to make it livable.
