What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to cement the floor of my house because it was earth. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that my business which I enlarge with GD transfer is now thriving well compared to the days when I had a small stock.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD is dedicated to helping the extreemly poor in the community. At the moment, I don't know what GD does not well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to construct a new permanent house that can comfortably contain my family and our belongings. I also improved my fish selling business so as to get more income and then paid school fees for my son in secondary school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have managed to construct a permanent house which is much more comfortable than the previous old mud house.

I spent my first transfer on paying school fees for my son who in form two and I also spent the remaining part of the transfer on boosting my small business that is my main source of income

I felt very happy when I received the cash because it gave me hope of taking my son back to school and it also gave me hope for boosting my fish business that wasn't doing so well during that time

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to use our transfer on completing our current house by cementing the floor.We also plan to construct a toilet and use the remaining amount to pay school fees for an orphaned child under our care.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is owning our current house which is bigger and better, in the past we used to live in a fully organic house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship facing us currently is on paying school fees and on making ends meet. My husband is bus conductor with little pay to sustain the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I'm at my place of business trying to make sells as I interact with my customers.
