How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is very different than it would have been without the transfer. My house was grass thatched and the leaking in the rainy season was annoying. I also feared the risk of the house catching fire whenever i was out. My beddings were not that decent as well. All these are history now as i have a decent house and bedroom. Thank you very much.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well in giving free cash which has helped my family and thank you for that. If you could extend the transfers to 3 or 4 times it would have been much better as it would help to improve our livelihoods further.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy 7 bags of cement to apply floor and plaster to my house. I also bought a mattress and blanket. I have saved the rest of the transfer to buy either a goat or cattle for rearing.
