What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to settle my dowry. I invested a portion of the transfer in subsistence farming. I also purchased family foodstuffs with the rest of the money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is difference in that my house is fully furnished. I believe without GD support, my house could have been empty as it used to be.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it is up to its promise. I wish if GD can continue, it can do us good.

I spent my second transfer on renting a piece of land for rice cultivation, bought seats, a matress and a cow for keeping.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I used to cultivate rice on a small piece of land, but now I was able to get a bigger piece of land, hence more profit.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly,l plan to use the transfer on rice and tomatoes farming using irrigation.l will buy seeds ,fertiliser and pipes for irrigation.Secondly,l will spend the transfer on buying household items like chairs and clothes for my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that through farming l was able to use my savings to build a better house for my family.Intially l was staying in a grass thatched house which was in a poor state.It was leaking during rainy seasons and my children got sick because of cold.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in my life is making ends meet.It has been dry, hence the causal work in rice fields l depend on for income are limited.My family most of the times only take two meals in a day.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening,l take track of the day's activities to know where l can put more effort the next day.
