Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
As a farmer, my wish is to always improve my farming to boost my returns. In the next four months, the new goal I have for my life is to buy another heifer to add the one I have. Having more cows in my homestead will translate to more milk production for both household consumption and sales thus have more income from. I look at livestock as financial security that I can readily rely on.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I am a young mother with a young family struggling to put the family in order. I do not have a formal job thus I rely on casual jobs and farming to see my family through. It had always been my wish to buy a cow as an asset and to reduce my daily expenditures on milk but my small wages couldn't give me a chance. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the heifer that I bought. I had started saving part of my transfer with an aim to buy a cow and I feel so happy to have accomplished it now that I have one. Even though I have started milking, I am happy to see it knowing that soon I will start after it calving and also have offsprings from that I will always rely on during any financial crisis.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I have invested in farming and currently have crops on the farm which are about to mature and a heifer about to calve. In the next six months, I expect a better life in that I will have a reap from my farming. I will have harvested my maize and my cow will have calved thus will have enough food for my family. I expected to be saving money that I could have spent on my household basic needs as I currently do.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, our desire as a young family is to have additional livestock. Asset investment will help us in future in securing our income even after the transfers has stopped.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life that has occurred over the last four months is the fact that we have bought a dairy cow. The situation was really bad before we bought the dairy cow since we used to use a lot of money to buy milk. House maintenance was also a toll order before we cemented the floor but we are now happy and proud that it is much more easy to maintain and keep it clean.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months we expect our lives to change in that we shall have improved our farming practices and increase our general household income. The dairy cows that we are buying and those that we have bought shall as well be of great help to us in increasing the level of income and improving our living standards as a family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am currently a self-independent woman and this the biggest difference in my life. As a young woman, I have always struggled to be relevant in the family by providing for some basic needs but since I am a casual laborer with scarce resources, I had been left like a child to my husband. I had hated my self for asking for personal basic needs from my husband till the time I started receiving money from GD when my life changed. I am empowered and self-independent, I can provide for my family and also get my personal basic needs with ease unlike before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I have a goal of buying sheep since this requires little capital to buy and to look after. I prefer sheep since they require shorter time to reproduce hence within a short time will have more and more to help. This will always be my happiness to see such assets grows and also security for financial necessities that can arise in the future.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Even though I have a young family that requires little expenditure per day, it had always been a tough struggle for me to play a role in providing for my family since I majorly depended on unpredictable and low paying casual jobs. I had looked down upon my self since I found out that I was never able to bring up my family. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding my current transfer is the high self-esteemed that I have gained since I can also provide for my family unlike before when I had to wait for my husband. I am currently an able mother that children lookup on for their needs and this always my happiness.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will be happier than now in the next six months since I expect my to have bought sheep hence will have an asset to take pride in. I also expect to improve my mud flour of the house by cementing it hence would be inhaling a lot of dust or spent most of my time repairing like today.
