How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I managed to pay school fees for my child with ease this time. My house is looking so good as compared to the old days before I was enrolled to GD. I have a peace of mind and am living a happy life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD has greatly helped me and everything GD does is so good. I have no issues with the organization.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought 10 bags of cement at 310,000Ugsh, sand at 45,000Ugsh, gravel at 20,000Ugsh, I paid for construction labour at 170,000Ugsh and food worth 60,000Ugsh. I bought a uniform for my child at 90,000Ugsh and paid school fees worth 300,000Ugsh. I also spent 50,000Ugsh on personal treatment in the hospital. I bought a hen for rearing at 27,000Ugsh and charcoal for domestic use. The balance of 503,000Ugsh am planning to spend it on blastering my house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The big difference is that am now able to access basic needs than before Give Directly came to support us improve on our lives.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy because I did not expect such big sum of at that time.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 300000/= on treatment, iron sheets 350000/=, school fees 350000/=, I gave my husband 400000/= and my elder children were given 300000/=.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means helping me get out of the many problems I have in my households like paying schools. It also means improving my life through acquiring some assets and building a house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I don't have any part of my day that a feel happy bacause of sickness
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is persistent sickness like high blood pressure, typhoid thats has made me very weak and limited me from digging and working hard for my household.
