What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I invested it in farming-I grow potatoes for sale in Rift valley part of Kenya. I risked investing in farming since I want to double and even triple the money I received from Give Directly since I am in dire need of change in my life.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received transfers from Give Directly in that I have gained some degree of independence-I grow potatoes in large scale to generate income along side running hair saloon shop.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, Give Directly targeted the poorest perfectly well, however, there are some people who never participated in the program and these people were totally left out, I wish they could be given a listening ear/ or a second chance.
