Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the overwhelming joy I feel having got money that has enabled me to build a bigger house although I am still sleeping in the small house.
Secondly, I am happy that I am able to provide proper meals for my family since I was able to stock food. Prior to getting this money, I depended on the mercy of my sons to provide meals for the family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I really felt happy the moment I received my money. I was so deligthed that I had got money to support myself given my old age.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy household items such as mattress, radio, and a bed.
I also bought some building materials such as bricks, iron sheets, timber, nails and paying labor that I am using to build my house although it is with mud.
I also bought a goat.
I spent some of my money on feeding since my family is big.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to build a better house since the one that I sleep in leaks.
I have tried to support the roof with stones but it is not safe.
I get worried each time the wind blows because I know that any time the roof can be blown off.
I also hope to buy a cow that can reproduce and help me take care of any eventualities that may arise in the future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am seated with my child especially after we have had supper.
We take time to advise and encourage one another.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with lack of food.
The piece of land that I have is too small to support my cultivation need.
This forcese me to go and do casual labour so as to be able to earn some money that can enable me buy food.
At my age, I am not able to do much work but because of my condition, I have to force myself to work.
