What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy cement and sand which I have used to renovate my house from mud to plastered, I spent some amount to pay school fees for my sibling who is in college. The remaining amount, I spent to clear medical bill which I had and also to buy school uniform for my children.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have enrolled my sibling in college and also I would not have lived in a three roomed house which is plastered and very beautiful. Thank you GD for the transfer

In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers which has uplifted the living standards of recipients. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on buying a dairy cow 25,000 KES and one goat 3,500 KES .I am so happy that I have my own livestock which I never knew I could have .I also bought building materials for expanding my house and at the moment I am assured that after its completion it will be spacious enough to fit the ten members of my family comfortably.

My biggest achievement is owing a house.l used to stay in a nearby local market where l was paying rent.l can now spend the rent on buying food for my family.

Making ends meet is my biggest hardship in my life.This year the rains were low ,so we did not get good harvest.We spend alot of money on buying food for the family.
