How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life has not been easy for me and my family because of poverty. I have been finding it very difficult to sustain me and my family because I have no money. I was so much happy when I was enrolled on the GiveDirectly cash transfer program and also when I started to receive my transfer. My only goal have been to invest into business because I want to earn more money in the future to support my children in school and build a decent house that will accommodate my family and I. I just want to say thank you to the Givedirectly family for being able to help me and my family with such amount of money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly have done very much well by helping me to achieve my dreams. Through the transfer from Givedirectly, I have been able to buy enough of goods for my business. I just want to thank GiveDirectly for this opportunity because I have been trying hard but there have been no way out. Without GiveDirectly's help I could not afford to earn such amount of money to start my business.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
To achieve my goals in my future, I decided to stick up to my plan of investing into business that will help me continue to have cash on hands to sustain me and my family. Therefore, due to this reason, when I receive my recent transfer from Givedirectly, I spend it purposely on my business goods. The remaining portion of it, I used it to buy food for the feeding of my family and I. I am so thankful to GiveDirectly because through it's unconditional cash transfer, I am now able to have family feed on time.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes. My new goal is to start a new business and send my two children to school. My worris have been my children's school and doing a business of my own. Things have been so difficult for me and my children since their father left us without supporting them. I used to get contracts from people just to provide our daily bread. However,with this great opportunity that I got from GiveDirectly,I am going to start a new business to sustain my two children and I. I am also going to send my children back to school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly is actually here to help me with money to do things for myself and improve my life. They've done so much well for we the poor people.

I will use my most recent transfer to buy goods to start a new business and food. I will also saved portion of my transfer to enable me pay children's tuition and buy their school materials when school opens.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I am a single mother. Things have been a bit difficult for my children and I. My husband left me with the children and moved to Monrovia with another woman. He doesnt assist me with the children. I live in my parents house. They have been assisting me to feed my children. I could not afford to pay their tuition. I was so excited when I received my money. Hopefully afyer receiving all of the transfers our lives will never be the same again.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments is that my children and I life will never be the same again. I am happy knowing that with this payment my children will be able to go to school and things will get better.

I have not withdrawn my money yet. When I do, I plan on buying some food itmes for my children. I also plan on buying them some clothes and footwear. I am so grateful for this opportunity.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My children are not attending school due to lack of finance. When I receive my transfer from GiveDirectly I will use portion of it to pay my children school fees and also invest in a small business with the balance one that could serve as a source of income to cater to my household needs".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"For the past six months things has not been easy for me. I was seriously sick and my parents took me to the sick bush to seek traditional treatment because they never had money to pay hospital bills and now I am not still well. Therefore nothing has brought me joy in the last six months".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The challenge I am facing currently is lack of finance. My household is involved into farming, but the proceeds from the farm is not sufficient to pay my children school fees, established a business and at the same time cater to my household needs".
