How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to pay my club due in to saving club. I have been facing serious challenged when it comes to paying my club due regularly because of illness. Thanks to Givedirectly for empowering me financially. I believe that when I save most of my transfer in to saving club, I will not encounter any financial difficulty in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is giving free cash grant to communities. Givedirectly staffs do not make false promises and her staff are very transparent in implementations. I am a testimonies of Givedirectly cash support. I was very ill and needed money to undergo surgery. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I was able to used some of my transfer to undergo successful surgery. Givedirectly cash support will forever be recorded in my mind. Every system Givedirectly is using to implement her program is unique.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to pay club due and used the balance money to buy building materials. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I am over glad for the great help Givedirectly did for me. Givedirectly has took me from no where to somewhere through cash support and I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my dream to live a better life in this village will soon come to pass.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I been seriously sick for three years before Givedirectly came in my community. My first transfer was use to pay my medical bills. My second transfer was saved and I have developed a new goal for my recent transfer. My new goal now is to build a new house because my old house is cover with thatch and it leaks especially during the raining season.I am fill with joy because my life is now accomplish by Givedirectly transfer. Thanks to Givedirectly for making me happy.

Givedirectly did well and I appreciate Givedirectly so much every thing was done fair and I am really happy and satisfied with every single activities Givedirectly did in my community.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to see my sick wife get well soon. I want to build a decent house so that my wife can relax her herself. I might pay for my surgery in due time. In the next year to come I'll like to open my farm where I will employ my own staff.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well for me. I has never received huge amount of money from the day of my birth up to present. The transfer i received from Givedirectly has brought joy in my life. I will own a zinc house because of GiveDirectly Transfer program. Givedirectly family should also pray for my family.

I bought zinc and materials for my house project. I pay my wife hospital bill and children school fees. Some of the money will be used to pay for my surgery. It has not been easy for my family, sickness has invaded my entire house this year. Almost all my transfer was spend on hospital bills and other family matters.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sitting outside of my house selling my petty business when I received a message from Givedirectly. I was so much excited at that moment. My life has started improving with the gift from Givedirectly .I was never respected in my village because I never had money. Well, that is not the case currently due to GiveDirectly Cash Transfer. I can now afford my family daily needs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I was struggling with getting finance to improve my house before I encountered GiveDirectly. I used to work for community members just to get my family needs. Now with the cash transfer sent to me, I am the happiest today. The money has enable me to pay attention to my family needs. I am also able to improve my house and have enough food for my family.

I have dream of building a new house because I never had a comfortable living place until Givedirectly sent me the transfer. I use my first transfer to buy materials to start my construction. I feel happy and comfortable with my daily activities now that I am living my dream of building a descent house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My previous house was burn during the war and I'm just managing in this mud house. If I get money from Give Directly l will build a new house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I felt very happy this gone July when my earlier son sent me money(three thousand Liberian dollar) for independence celebration. I was actually happy because there was no food in the house to eat on that day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I'm currently sick and needs operations and I'm also planning to help my children who are in Monrovia to further their education.
