What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used the last cash transfer to buy building materials such as cement, new iron sheets, timber and sand. I am now proud to have a very beautiful house. I did not have a house before and that is why I opted to build a new one. I no longer have to rent a house like I used to do before.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on buying building materials such as 35 pieces of iron sheets, timbers, steel and three steel windows since I am planning to build a decent house in my own homestead at the moment I am staying in a rental house as the house I used to stay in collapsed accidentally rendering me homeless .I have also added stock onto my fish vending business.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have managed to buy the necessary building materials to necessitated the accomplishment of putting up my homestead as the customary law states despite the fact that my husband died without putting one for me due to lack of money, at the moment I am staying in a rental house since the house I used to stay in collapsed accidentally rendering me homeless.Thanks to GiveDirectly what they have done to me is unforgettable.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is how to bring food on the table, which has been a big snare. I am soul bread winner, and some time back i was ill that i couldn't have energy to look for food for my children, and subjected my children to a lot of suffering.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is Noon time, since this is the time when we done our morning work at beach, and we free to chart with my women colleagues.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will be a great step in my life. Since 2002, after the death of my husband, i have been living at the beach because my house was demolished, now i can see the light of hope in heart that i will be able to build my house.
