Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In four months’ time, my new goal for my life is to begin passion fruit planting. This is one of the horticultural crops which really does well in my region and the sale is really good. My hopes are to ensure that once the crops have ripened, I shall sell them for income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I currently have a fully completed and furnished kitchen. Previously I had one small house which had iron sheets literally placed over it to provide shelter. I also built another big house which will serve as the ‘big house’ which usually serves visitors when they come. It has given me the confidence to even guest something that I feared to do in the past.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In six months’ time, I expect to have begun harvesting passion fruits farming. This means that I will be earning income from the sale of these commodities and therefore my family’s livelihood will be good.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
For a while now, I have been using my mother-in-law's kitchen to cook and as a woman, this takes away the independence and the comfort of having to cook in your own kitchen whenever you want. The biggest difference, therefore, is that I now have my own kitchen. I was able to save some amount of the monthly transfer until I had enough to put up a kitchen and I am so happy because of this.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for my life is to buy a heifer for rearing. My plan is to invest in this is so that once the heifer reproduces, I will have enough milk for home use and sell the surplus for an income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Ever since I got married, my in-laws had never visited my maternal home. I have always had a desire and wish to take them for a visit home but finances have always been a challenge. Through the transfers that I usually receive from GiveDirectly, I was able to hire a vehicle and took my in-laws for the visit to my parents. I am now a happy and fulfilled woman since my parents now know the people I live with.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is to have bought a heifer for rearing. This, I pray, will later reproduce and be a source of income from the sale of milk. The proceeds will help me to meet my family's basic needs and improve my financial strength.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Over the last four months, many changes in my compound have occurred. The completion of my house is one of them. Further, I used the money I get from the last transfers to furnish it. I bought two seats and a table. I also got a bed and these allowed me to move from our of my mother in laws house and started my own. I am now living in my own matrimonial home. Additionally, I have managed to dress my children well. My low-income form doing menial jobs would not allow me to buy clothes but instead, I focused on meeting daily needs. Currently, my family is very well dressed.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to use the money over the next month to continue buying household items for my house. I am moving out of my mother in law's house to start my own home gradually.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life over the last four months is furnishing my home. As a young family, we have just completed building a living house that has a bedroom and a huge sitting room. After completion, I found it still not habitable because it was empty and hollow without seats. I started to buy the furniture one by one. Currently, I have completed furnishing it which is now a nice place to stay in. I spend most of the time now in my own home and enjoy the stay unlike before when I would have to be at mother inlaws where I could find the facilities.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life will have changed because I will be having an income from the poultry project. I will be practicing poultry keeping in my home using the transfer and this will be a good source of income added to the menial jobs that I do.
