How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
most problems i had in my life has reduced and now i cant lie there was never hunger during farming season as i already bought everthing again i bought fertilizer and seeds which i couldnt have afford on my own

give us money to sustain our lives n reduce problems is the best thing that Give directly did well

I have a Son who was just staying at home and i wanted him to go to south Africa to search for green pasture as it so hard here in Malawi to do so i gave him 170 for transport and as a stater and he is gone now

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received the transfer I was super excited and I am still happy because that transfer brought happiness in our family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my everyday life is that before the transfer i couldn't manage to feed my whole family,we use to eat once or two times a day if at all we lucky,but now i have secured food for my household from this transfer we are all able to eat 3 times a day and I'm really grateful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Apparrantly my major plan is to build a house but since its rainy season I have dicided to build a kitchen first which it is now used as a boys qourter for my children,i used the remaining money to buy 2 bag of fertiliser and 2 bags of maize aswell,and i saved some.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This is more than good news to me as receiving this money means I will be able to buy fertilizers for my garden so that I harvest more and have enough food. I will also buy some clothes for my family

In the morning when I go to find piece work
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have always had problems in accessing fertilizers for my garden in the past as a result I am always starving.
