What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I had plans of financing my spouse to pay my dowry but since I was expectant, such a thing could not happen. We therefore opted to invest the amount that was meant for the same in livestock. We purchased a total of 10 goats with intentions that we would sell them to purchase cows for dowry payment. In addition to that, we purchased 2 donkeys to help us collect water from the lake. I resided in a very dry area where water was a very big challenge. People walked several miles in search for water which created a very big advantage for those who owed donkeys since they could easily use them to collect water from the lake and supply the entire village. My donkeys were therefore purchased to not only supply me with water for my own consumption but instead be used commercially. I am happy that I am able to collect some amount of money from the water supply come the end of the day.

From my second transfer, I bought sofa sets at 12,000 KES, bought a table at 2,500 KES, bought 2 donkeys at 20,000 KES, bought 2 goats at 6,000 KES, and the remaining 9,000 KES, I spent to buy 3 sacks of maize for my family's consumption.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is different in that I now have my own donkeys, livestock and also I have sofa sets.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on building a house and shift the current house from where it is as it is near a electric power line, I will spend part of the transfer on buying furniture for my house and two bulls that we will use in ploughing our farm. The remaining amount I will spend on paying school fees for our children and for paying my dowry.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that I am proudest of is that we were able to build our own house using cash that we had saved from our farming business and now we have a house of our own that we call home.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that our income is very low and getting a stable job is not easy for us and at times we are forced to work on other people's farms but the pay is very low to sustain our needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I go to my farm in the morning to plough it and plant vegetables like kale and tomatoes. This makes me happy as we will have food to eat when I harvest the crops.
