Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited when I received my transferred from GiveDirectly. I am a Cocoa farmer and I have been struggling with my farming work. In the past, Because of lack of finance I could not hire people to brush under my Cocoa, But with the help of GiveDirectly financial assistance I was able to expand my farm to four acres by hiring more manpower to brushed additional Farm Land.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has improved greatly since GiveDirectly started sending me transferred funds. In the past, I could not hire more people to help me brush additional farm land, Because of lack of finance. Now that GiveDirectly have started sending me money my farm will improve, I have expanded my farm to additional 4 acres of land and I'm awaiting my next transfer to buy additional Cocoa seeds for planting. With this additional investment in my farm, my prospect of getting more profits in the next one year from my harvest will be huge.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successful to receive the cash, I will extend my cocoa farm. I have anticipated to make a very large cocoa farm but I have not been able to raise money for that purpose. I have been engaged in sawing plank for sale to enable me hire people regularly to do the work; but few years ago my operator for the saw died. Since then, it has been very difficult to raise money to hire daily workers to do my farm work. So if I am successful to receive the money from GD, that will be huge help to implementing my plan to have a big farm.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes, the fact that I have life, I am always happy. Because these days the death rate is so high. So to be well in my body why others are at the hospital, I am very happy for that.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge for me here is how to raise money to implement my farm project and also provide food for my family. Like I said earlier, when I had operator for my saw I used to raise money to handle the challenges listed above. But since his deaths, raising money has become a serious challenge for me.
