How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There's a lot of happiness because poverty has reduced in my household. I had issues settling my children's tuition but these transfers have helped me a lot solve the matter. I was able to clear debts for the piece of land that was used as collateral security for burial arrangements of my parents. Thanks to GD for I now have full ownership of my ancestral land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
As for me Give Directly has helped meaning that the poor who could not get anything especially from Government programs have benefited from GD. GD has improved peoples standards of living in different ways like people have have started businesses, Built houses, paid school fees among others .GD's mode of operation of moving from door to door enrolling recipients from their homes and establishing the truth whether the home belongs to the right recipient. However, One mistake Give Directly did is to skip other eligible recipients without any reason whatsoever they are not enrolled.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used Ugx 381000 for purchasing school supplies and saved ugx 1252000 for future use.
