What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a solar panel at 8,000 KES,a solar battery at 7,500 KES,television set at 8,000 KES,inverter at at 3,000 KES,power controller at 3,000 KES,Power cable at1,000 KES,an ariel at 1,000 KES,bought myself a suit at 3,000 KES,plywood at 2,000 KES and i added some money to what i had left to lease a sugarcane farm.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
Yes, my new goal is to go into large scale sugarcane planting in future.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because through the transfers i got a source of entertaiment in my house and i was also able to plant my sugarcane which is my source of income.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
l spent 17000 KES of the transfer to plant sugarcane, l bought furniture at 5000 KES and 2000 KES l spent to buy food the remaining balance l still have it in my E-mpesa account.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
l have invested in sugarcane plantation where by l am very sure at the end of the day l will get a lot of income which will better my life.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy farm inputs like seeds and fertiliser which I will use to increase the productivity of my farm.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having planted sugarcane in my farm and after selling the first harvest I was able to build my own house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income for myself. I rely heavily on farming and when the harvests are bad we often have to limit our spending.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around midday when I am having my lunch together with my family and friends. We often relax and enjoy some pleasant conversations.
