What does receiving this money mean to you?
As a single parent, I have been struggling for years now just to improve the living conditions of my Children and myself because I lost their father some two years ago. If I'm successfully enrolled in to Give Directly Cash transfer program, I plan to built a house for myself and my children as well as help pay my children school fees. Even as we speak currently, I don't have my own place to be but living in this room that is owned by Pa. Blama Sonnie.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Since I lost my spouse some years back, I haven't experienced anything of a joy or happiness but to admit, just by hearing about Give Directly Cash transfer program today and for receiving cellphone today brings me so much joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Like I said previously, I don't have a husband so feeding my children most especially boys has been very difficult for me because I don't have any other person to help me with their up bringing. Paying their school fees is another challenge because I have to make cassava patch and when the cassava is ready for harvest, I have it transformed in to Fufu a local food here in our community to sell as means of raising money for my children and myself.
