Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my peanut farm when I heard my friends shouting and celebrating in the town. I came running to find out what was going on then one of them asked me have you checked your phone? Give Directly has sent the transfer. At that moment I took my phone to confirm what she was saying. When I checked my message, I saw the transfer and started to dance like the others I was so happy and thankful for that whole day.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Live has been tough before I could start receiving my transfer. My children and I have to burn charcoal before we can earn money on our own but now we are grateful to good GD because the transfer has empowered us to provide our needs without doing hard work
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought food and Land with my transfer in Monrovia and the balance was used to pay my children tuition.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My children education is very important to me so what I plan to do when the money is transfer to me is to register my children in school and buy their school uniform and invest in my farming inorder to keep the family up".
What is the happiest part of your day?
I can only be happy when ever my children are in school and have enough food to eat
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"things are very difficult now a day. We are barely surviving just one day at a time. We have burn charcoal to help us with the farming. And infact, sometime after producing the coal we barely get buyers. And sometimes the buyers credit the coal from us and that happens we find it very difficult to get our money from them. So life is just difficult".
