How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving my transfer from GiveDirectly, I have been particularly focused on renovating my house. I wanted to change the entire roof and also replace the old tatch with new zinc. Therefore, when I received my recent transfer, I bought 2 bundles of zinc and 1 carton of zinc nails to replace the old roof over my house. Moreover, I bought 10 bags of cement to plaster my entire house. Portion of my transfer was also used to purchase 10 bags of cement to plaster my house and put a concrete floor within the entire house as well.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Every aspect of this organization remains unmatched. They give hope to extremely poor people like us with their unique cash transfers. They are very fair in selecting qualified beneficiaries. I don't see anything that GiveDirectly is not doing quite well.
