How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, my daughter is going to graduate with a certificate in Education and she will help me in future with meeting household needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly does well in ensuring that people's money is not stolen by sending it to their phones. I do not see anything that GD does not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on completing payment for my piece land at 1,200,000ugx, I used 200,000ugx on school fees, 90,000 on buying a goat and I spent 143,000ugx on buying tomatoes for my bussiness.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that i now own land which i did not have before.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money, I became happy because i thought it was not possible and it was a lie.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchase of land at 1,500,000ugx. I also bought a mattress which costed me 80,000ugx and I paid school fees of 75,000ugx for my child. The balance of the money am spending on food and other household necessities.

My biggest hardship is inadequancy of money to buy a plot of land to construct an iron roofed house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Morning time is my happiest part of the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means building an iron roofed house. I intend to use this money to buy a plot of land to construct a comfortable shelter for my children.
