What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent UGX 300,000 for treating my husband. I bought bedsheets and saved UGX 1,300,000 that I will use for roofing the house I had started building with my first transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me money and to follow me up even after getting the transfer. They did not ask for any bribe from me. I haven't seen any thing that they did bad.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am currently sleeping in a grass thatched house but my life has improved because I started a house project. I hope to complete soon since I already have money for roofing it. I have also acquired good bed sheets which I did not have before.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy building materials such as cement, bricks, sand, timber and iron sheets which will be used to contract a house, including paying labour of builders, and I also bought a few household items like mattress, blanket and utensils.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy because this money was going to enable me sleep in an iron sheet roofed house which I longed for.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is happiness that I am going to avoid a grass thatched house with its burden to an iron sheet roofed house, and also be able to afford a better diet of food.

The biggest hardship which I face in my is lack of assistance for farming .
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is evening after work because it's a time where I get relaxed for work done the whole day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a means of helping me to get some money to help me to build my house and then the balance i will use for buying oxgyen for ploughing.
